CCTV Surveillance Solutions

Much like telecommunications systems, there are numerous security options available in the marketplace. MottaCom will help you navigate the possibilities to design and install a reliable system that meets your specific surveillance requirements. We service commercial, industrial and residential installations, always recommending high quality cameras and recording systems that you can trust to capture images when the need arises. There are a number of factors to be considered in any installation, but you can count on us to help answer the following questions:

Covert or overt?
We'll help to identify if your primary objective is deterrence or observation.

What are the lighting conditions?
Colour cameras provide additional detail, but infrared (IR) cameras can operate in much lower light. You can have the best of both worlds with a day/night camera, which provides colour images during the day, then turns to an infrared camera as the light levels fall.

Fixed or PTZ cameras?
Fixed cameras remain motionless, providing a static area of coverage. PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) cameras are programmed to cover a wider area through an automated “tour”, or they can be operated manually to select a viewing area when needed.

Remote or local storage?
Digital video recorders (DVRs) are the standard local storage devices with capacity ranges from 250 GB up to 2 TB. IP cameras offer increased flexibility by using video management software enabling video streams to be stored and accessed remotely over the internet.

Are additional viewing options required?
Real-time remote monitoring can be facilitated over the internet or your smartphone.
